Southern California – “Cruisin’ for A Cure.”

The Automotive Club of Southern California is one of many sponsors for “Cruisin’ for a Cure”. Most of us have been touched by Cancer in one way, shape or form. You can support the fight against cancer by volunteering or attending the “Cruisin’ for a Cure” event that will be held on Saturday, September 24^th in Costa Mesa, CA. Gates will open at 6am and cost is $15 or $13 with an AAA^® card. Kids under 12 attend for free, so bring out the entire family!

Below are a few more perks that you can enjoy while attending the show.

• Music on stages 9:00am – 3:30pm with breaks throughout the day (check the full schedule in the program or at various areas throughout the day)
• Drawings are held throughout the day for fun prizes including a 350/290HP Crate Engine from Guaranty Chevrolet!
• There are free courtesy shuttles available all day for vendors to and from the vendor parking lot to your exhibit!

As always, this years’ event will also provide PSA testing.

More than 2.9 million men in the United States who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer are still alive today. That is why “Cruisin’ for a Cure” offers Free PSA Testing.

FREE PSA Testing

A simple PSA test, while not the complete answer, will indicate if there is the possibility of a problem. While you are at the Cruise, please visit the PSA testing center located in the Anaheim Building and take advantage of this free test. It is a simple, painless blood test.

This past year, over 1,000 men were tested at the Cruise. Of these, 144 were discovered to have an elevated PSA count of over 2.2 and were instructed to see their doctor for further testing. Over the past several years, over 10,000 men have been tested at the show and hundreds of lives have been saved.

Please ensure that you take the free PSA test at the show! Your life depends on it. The test takes less than 10 minutes and you will receive your results in less than 30 days.

The test is from 6:00am to 4:30pm on the day of the show.
