The Automotive Refinish business unit of PPG™ has expanded and upgraded several of its Business Development centers in alignment with their commitment to provide professional training. The centers are said to be, “state of the art”, equipped with new conference rooms, classrooms, spray booths, downdraft prep decks and mixing rooms. These upgrades will greatly improve PPG™’s ability to train painters, distributors and body shop and collision repair professionals to properly use the company’s automotive paint products.
“We trained over 16,000 students last year—more than any other automotive paint company,” said Randy Cremeans, PPG™director of training. “Painters, technicians, distributors and the entire spectrum of collision repair professionals rely on us to provide the best training opportunities possible. By maintaining exceptional facilities staffed by PPG™training professionals, we’re creating an elite environment where we conduct the kind of training that ensures PPG™ customers can stay far ahead of their competition.”
PPG™ anticipates that their new facilities will generate greater demand for their training services and are therefore increasing the amount of classes offered in 2016. Courses are available in 16 locations across America and Canada, including Allison Park, PA and Baltimore, MD – two centers that have undergone significant renovation.
With a team of PPG™ certified tech support staff, we are very excited about PPG™’s new and improved training facilities. If you are unfamiliar with this service, or have any questions regarding PPG™ products, feel free to contact your local Martin Auto Color for assistance. Our team is always happy to help.
