Given the emergency situation surrounding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), and it being extended until April 30 until further notice, some, if not all, of these events may be impacted by this event. Please see below for updates. We recommend that you contact the event coordinator(s) to confirm the event of interest is cancelled, delayed, or is still proceeding for the month April. Our information for these events are only as current as it’s updated and communicated online. Rods & Mods Show & Shine Car Show
When: April 1 (repeats every Wednesday through August)
Where: California Burgers, 8537 Auburn Boulevard, Citrus Heights, California
Time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
The Rods & Mods Show & Shine Car Show is held each Wednesday from April to August and is open to all years, makes, and models. The last Wednesday of each month features food specials, D.J. music, raffle prizes, 50/50 raffle and awards! Learn more.

When: April (Every Saturday)
Where: Nordstrom Rack at Palladio, 440 Palladio Pkwy., Folsom, CA
Time: 7:00 to 9:00 am

2020 SCCA Majors – WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
When: April 3-5
Where: WeatherTech Raceway, Laguna Seca

Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The San Francisco Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) will host the SCCA’s Majors Tour at WeatherTech Raceway. Spectators are welcome. Come see fantastic wheel to wheel racing up close at this historic race track with the best racers on the West Coast. Kid- and Family-friendly. Walk the paddocks and meet the racers, see the volunteers in action, observe the race cars and experience the racing highlights. County Park might charge a small entry fee ($5 or less,) but there’s no additional charge to see the paddock and racing. Learn more.

CSRG David Love Historic Car Races
When: April 17-19
Where: Sonoma Raceway, 29355 Arnold Dr., Sonoma, CA
Time: Schedule varies depending upon number of entries, but racing usually begins by 9:00 am.
Muscle Cars, Can Am, Trans Am, Le Mans cars and more make up the 300 cars competing in eight vintage races on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th.
You will spend almost no time looking at an empty track. Each morning there is a full slate of qualifying, and starting right at lunch time, through dusk, there is non-stop racing. The paddock is fully open, and all the drivers and mechanics are happy to talk to you about their cars.
The David Love Memorial Races are the season opener for CSRG Racing, Northern California’s premier Vintage racing organization. The late David Love and his friends started CSRG, the Classic Sports Racing Group, in 1968. It provided a home for cars that were loved by their drivers but were not competitive in the disposable world of contemporary club racing. Through the efforts of David and the other early pioneers in the sport, 50 years later, CSRG is now 500 members strong, with four races a year, and is an established leader in vintage competition. CSRG focuses on great racing and keeping vintage and historic cars as original as possible. Learn more.

Trans Am SpeedFest
When: April 30 – May 3
Where: WeatherTech Raceway, Laguna Seca

Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Contemporary Trans Am racing takes the center stage at the inaugural Trans Am SpeedFest. The race weekend showcases the motoring muscle of the popular Trans Am Series by Pirelli with pro drivers competing in modern-day race-prepped Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, Corvettes and Vipers. Countering the new machines is a festive salute to vintage racing cars from the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association that are prepared to the rules in which they were originally raced. Learn more.
