Cooler temps are on their way, and that means it’s perfect weather for a drive. If you are looking for car events in the southern region of California, here are some fun dates to save for an adventurous road trip with friends, family or even by yourself. Enjoy food, drinks and cars. It’s time to check your oil, engine, and tires, and hit the road!

Classic Car Show

Every Friday from 4-10 p.m., Bob’s Big Boy® Burbank hosts Southern California’s best Classic Car Show. You’ll never know who or what you’re going to see. Brian Wilson, the genius behind the Beach Boys, has shown up to take in the little deuce coupes he used to sing about. And Jay Leno, well he’s more than just a regular. Read more.

Long Beach Hi-Performance Swap Meet

Founded in 1983 with just seven vendors and 40 shoppers, the Long Beach Hi-Performance Swap Meet at Veterans Memorial Stadium has grown to over 600 vendors and thousands of shoppers, while maintaining its hard-core automotive flavor. This outdoor event has become world-renowned for its content of antique, vintage, classic, and high-performance cars and parts for sale at bargain prices. The swap meet is a must-visit for hot rod, muscle car, street rod, classic car and truck enthusiasts.
