PPG’s colorful Show Truck will begin its 2017 U.S. tour on March 10. The first of 20 appearances will take place at the Goodguys 8th Spring Nationals, hosted at the WestWorld of Scottsdale in Arizona. The popular truck is set to make a 3 day appearance in Southern California, between March 31-April 2.
The popular event features car, truck, and hot rod shows, along with events sponsored by the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, as well as other prominent automotive enthusiast groups. Fans can expect a massive 75-foot 2016 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer rig, sporting a strikingly patriotic paint scheme. The truck’s unique motif is reminiscent of the American flag’s stars and stripes, and displays the spirited colors, radical graphics and matchless special effects PPG’s products inspire and deliver.
This year, Keith MacDonald of PPG, a veteran driver with more than 30 years of on-the-road experience, will be guiding the truck. MacDonald will cover approximately 30,000–35,000 miles annually, steering the truck coast to coast. PPG invites truck and car fans to visit the show truck wherever it stops.
