Southern California Events February 2020

It’s once again a slower time of year and to make time to take a couple road trips to partake in some favorite automotive events. Southern California offers a variety of events from swap meets to car shows, racetrack events to motorcycle events. If you like the roar of an engine, vibrant paint colors, or the preservation of a classic car, some of these events might spark your interest!

San Juan Capistrano Car Show

• February 1 – 9am – 2pm

The classic, new and exotic will headline the San Juan Capistrano Car Show, which promises a fabulous display of some 400 antique and classic cars and trucks. The return of the popular New-Car Row will show the latest models from local dealers. Bring the family! This is a pet-friendly event, and many of last year’s attendees had their four-legged friends in tow. Come and see the impressive rows of cars and trucks, shop the vendors’ booths and enjoy delicious food with your family. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome!

2020 Whittier Area Classic Car Show

This past February was our largest show to date with just over 500 show cars spanning the years 1914-1976, amazing display cars and nostalgia dragsters, and thousands of spectators. In case you didn’t get to walk the entire show, it had a wide variety of sponsor and vendor booths, high quality t-shirts, foot-stomping live music, fun activities for the kids, nine food trucks, hundreds of raffle prizes, an exciting opportunity drawing, and distinctive trophies in over 20 categories.
